In the latest issue of the MIT Technology Review, Brad Burnham, managing partner at Union Square Ventures, states that “his firm will steer clear of start-ups working on video and media business, and it will avoid investing in payment systems or in mobile wallets, which require ultra-fast transaction times to make sense. ‘This is a bad scene for innovation in those areas’.”
