A hacker group known as the “Shadow Brokers” on Friday released a set of documents “that describe an alleged effort by the NSA to target two ‘service bureaus’ connected to the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, or Swift,” the Journal reported. “The Shadow Brokers documents allegedly show the NSA targeted but didn’t manage to compromise Business Computer Group, and that it did compromise EastNets—a claim that company disputed.”
