New Controls at Swift


Swift last week released “new security standards for its customers as well as a tool for blocking suspicious payments,” wrote the Wall Street Journal. “The new controls include detailed requirements about how users need to physically isolate local Swift-related equipment in a designated zone; protect access to tokens that contain Swift credentials; conduct annual security training for all staff; and have cyber-incident-response plans.”
