Capital One has partnered with Amazon to allow customers to check their bank and credit account balances, monitor recent transactions, and pay bills using Echo, a voice-controlled smart system with an interactive interface known as “Alexa”. Capital One is the first company to integrate financial services with Alexa’s software, but Citigroup and Wells Fargo are currently testing ways to use Echo and other voice command-based tools. USAA, All Bank, and BBVA Compass are also using “Siri-like” services to allow customers to complete banking tasks via app-based voice controls.
I hope the banks have done their due diligence on these vendors and their devices.
