The above is tongue in cheek from a friend of mine that came out of a discussion that started with the RSA attack, but went on to note that it’s been a bad few weeks on the security front.
Along with the Comodo CA breach and the issuing of false SSL certs, this means that the trust in some fundamental security technologies is reduced.
What worries me most is the motive behind the theft. It could have been opportunism. But the the method employed appears to have been targeted quite carefully…
